Job Title: Business Development Manager (M&A)
Job Hours: 9am to 6pm
Job Location: Ubi

The Opportunity:

  • As a Business Development Manager for M&A, you will play a critical dual-role in driving the company’s strategic growth initiatives. This position involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and executing mergers and acquisitions to expand market presence and capabilities.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, financial analysis skills, and a deep understanding of corporate growth strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with the company’s growth strategy.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with strategic partners, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to uncover emerging trends and potential areas of expansion.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product) to align growth initiatives with business goals.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and partnership presentations.
  • Source and evaluate potential acquisition targets and investment opportunities.
  • Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence on target companies.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, and external advisors on transaction structuring, negotiation, and execution.
  • Prepare investment memos, board presentations, and post-merger integration plans.
  • Monitor M&A pipeline and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA a plus).
  • At least 2 years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, investment banking, or M&A.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Self-starter with strategic thinking and a results-oriented mindset.
