The Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling Lions Intelligence products by identifying opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual subscription revenue targets
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline based on a targeted pursuit strategy, including contact mapping and engagement plans for each target
  • Provide accurate monthly revenue forecasting for commercial leadership
  • Meet and exceed monthly activity KPIs that support pipeline development, consistently tracked in Salesforce
  • Establish and conduct industry, institution, and client research to create tailored outreach for your territory and support a structured and consultative approach to prospecting
  • Present Lions Intelligence products and services professionally
  • Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of sales administration
  • Proactively identify opportunities to capitalize on market developments or changes
  • Work with sales management to develop and execute strategic sales plans and goals
  • Be an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Collaborate effectively to ensure projects are not siloed or silenced

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets
  • Ability to identify, strategize, and build new business opportunities
  • Persuasiveness, executive presence, and excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Genuine interest and enthusiasm for Lions' content areas, including marketing and advertising best practices
  • Effective team player
