A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Sales & Business Development Manager to drive sales growth across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The ideal candidate will lead a sales team, manage key accounts, and demonstrate technical solutions. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, an MBA preferred, and 8-10 years of experience in IP video surveillance solutions. Strong communication skills and proficiency in relevant tools are a must.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive sales growth across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, key accounts and strategic partnerships.
- Execute Proof of Concepts (POCs) independently to demonstrate product & solution capabilities.
Key Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions using i-PRO’s product portfolio.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor sales specialist, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering team to develop A&E specifications for large-scale tenders and projects.
Technical Engagement:
- Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Provide hands-on support for installation and commissioning when needed
- Conversant & hands-on experience with VMS platforms like Milestone, Genetec
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with an MBA will be preferred
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in IP video surveillance solutions
- Proven hands-on experience with installation and commissioning.
- Ability to independently conduct POCs and technical evaluations.
- A proactive problem solver and go-getter with a results-driven mindset.
- Experience working with multinational manufacturers (video surveillance) or global system integrators.
- Experience with Milestone/ Genetec system integration is highly desirable
- Preferably with relevant sales and BD experience in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia markets
Competency, Skills & Knowledge
- Build cooperative working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Strong follow-up skills, meticulous and detailed oriented preferred
- Good understanding of Network infra-Structure, Fire Wall, VLAN and associated product and systems.
- Bold, Flexible & Trusted with the “Passion-to Win”
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com, Power BI and advanced excel will be required
- Good Knowledge of MS window Server Operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, SAN, NAS systems
Language
- Strong business level English (Verbal and Writing)
- Strong communication skills; fluent speaker with excellent presentation abilities.
