Business Development Manager - IT Custom Software

Role: Drive sales for custom mobile and web development projects.

  1. Responsibilities:
  2. Generate business from portals like Upwork, Guru, Freelancer, etc.
  3. Qualify clients, understand project requirements, create scope documents, and negotiate contracts.
  4. Propose technical solutions for business/eCommerce websites and mobile apps.
  5. Promote the company's brand, close projects, and respond to client RFPs with customized proposals.
  6. Develop formal scope documents and maintain client communication.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  2. Proven track record in techno-commercial roles in core IT sales.
  3. Hands-on experience in business generation via marketplaces.
  4. Ability to close deals independently and maintain key account management.
  5. Knowledge of IT services, custom software, and latest IT trends.
  6. Availability to travel and work outside normal hours.

Qualifications: Any graduate with a good academic record. Experience in non-core IT sales may not be suitable; preference for experience with custom software development in techno-commercial roles.
