Job description

Reporting to the Asia Regional Director, the Business Development Manager will lead strategic growth initiatives by identifying new claims programs, managing client relationships, and driving regional business development efforts.

Description

As the Business Development Manager for the Asia region, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the delivery of high-quality claims services.

  1. Identify and pursue new claims program opportunities and regional nominations across Asia.
  2. Analyse market trends and client needs to develop targeted commercial initiatives.
  3. Oversee the setup and daily management of claims programs, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
  4. Drive client engagement through regular stewardship reporting, relationship building, and strategic account management.
  5. Champion the use of CRM systems to track and manage client activity and renewals.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams and regional offices to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.
  7. Provide training, thought leadership, and support to brokers and clients on the firm's capabilities and services.
  8. Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to expand the firm's presence in the Asia region.

Profile

You are a commercially minded professional with experience in the insurance or claims sector, confident in driving business growth and managing key client relationships across the region.

  1. At least 7 years of experience in business development or client management within insurance or related services.
  2. Proven ability to analyse market trends and develop strategic growth initiatives.
  3. Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  4. Familiar with CRM systems and client stewardship practices.
