A leading mental health services organization in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Manager to promote their services and expand their client base. This role will focus on strategic planning, partnership development, and market analysis to ensure organizational growth. Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in business development within healthcare, with a proactive approach to building relationships across various sectors.
Basic + Commission
The principal role of the Business Development Manager is to help grow our mental health services organization in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, strategic planning, and relationship building, with a passion for promoting mental health and wellness.
This individual will be responsible for creating and executing growth strategies, identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships, and expanding the organization’s client base.
The role requires someone who can work across diverse audiences, including individuals, corporations, schools, and community organizations, while positioning the organization as a trusted leader in mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the organization’s reach and revenue streams.
Identify and target key growth areas, including individual therapy services, corporate wellness programs, psychoeducational assessments, and telehealth services.
Set measurable goals and milestones for client acquisition, partnerships, and market penetration.
Partnership Development:
Establish and nurture partnerships with local schools, universities, hospitals, embassies and corporate clients to generate a steady stream of referrals and contracts.
Secure contracts for Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), corporate workshops, and mental health training sessions.
Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and community forums to promote its services.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends, client needs, and competitive opportunities in Singapore mental health sector.
Analyze data to inform business strategies, pricing models, and service offerings.
Provide insights to leadership on market dynamics, client feedback, and areas for improvement.
Operational Support:
Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with psychologists and therapists to align business growth initiatives with service capacity.
Marketing and Brand Awareness:
Assist in creating bilingual marketing materials and presentations for diverse audiences.
Act as a brand ambassador, communicating the organization’s mission and values to potential clients and partners.
Utilize digital platforms to promote services and engage with target audiences.
Revenue Growth and Reporting:
Develop pricing strategies and packages for services, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
Track and report on business development metrics, such as revenue growth, client acquisition, and partnership success.
Adjust strategies based on performance data and feedback from stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field. (A master’s degree is a plus.)
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in healthcare, mental health, or service-based industries.
Proven track record of growing revenue and building successful partnerships.
Experience working in multicultural environments or with both local and international clients.
