About Us:

Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking company focused on maximizing the potential of our game IPs. As they are expanding their licensing and partnership strategies, we’re looking for an experienced and driven IP Licensing & Business Development Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for a passionate gaming enthusiast with a keen understanding of the IP licensing landscape, who thrives on building and nurturing strategic partnerships.

About the role

  • IP Resource Management: Lead the collection, screening, and maintenance of key IP resources, including brand partners, online and offline channels, and influential market players. Develop and maintain a comprehensive IP resource library to support licensing initiatives.

  • Client & Partnership Development: Drive the development and management of IP authorization clients aligned with the company's strategic goals. Foster new licensing collaborations and manage existing partnerships to achieve set IP licensing objectives.

  • Collaboration & Negotiation: Establish and manage strategic partnerships between game IPs and external partners. Oversee the entire partnership lifecycle— from identifying opportunities, negotiating terms, to securing long-term collaboration agreements.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct detailed analysis and create review reports for IP licensing collaborations. Monitor market trends, performance metrics, and competitor activities to continuously optimize licensing strategies and improve business outcomes.

  • Industry Insight & Strategy: Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and content compliance requirements. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to inform decision-making and improve the company's licensing approach.

Skills and Experiences required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IP licensing, business development, or a related field, with a solid understanding of the gaming industry. Experience working on animation, comic, or other IP-based projects will be an advantage.

  • Strong ability to analyze IP market trends, emerging opportunities, and competitor dynamics to develop strategic recommendations that drive growth.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry laws, content compliance, and best practices for managing and negotiating licensing partnerships.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to engage with partners and stakeholders to close deals and drive results.

  • A genuine passion for gaming with an in-depth understanding of gaming culture, trends, and audience expectations.
