Job description

  • Position : Business Development Manager (From Semiconductor Industry)

  • Location : Loyang Drive

  • Working hours : Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm

  • Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $6000 + $1500 Transport Allowances + AWS + Performance Bonus + 15 Days Annual Leave

  • Duration : Permanent

  • Industry : Vacuum System Supplier

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define and agree on annual VSS market share and penetration targets.

  • Coordinate with Sales, VSS Operations, and support teams (e.g., STC, Service Supply Chain) to achieve goals.

  • Measure and report on progress.

  • Manage regional pricing policies within global guidelines.

  • Balance market share and profitability in collaboration with Equipment Business Line management.

  • Drive and report on new VSS product launches and marketing campaigns in the region.

  • Develop marketing collateral & training materials for sales teams and partners.

  • Collaborate with Sales to integrate VSS into key account plans (EVSP).

  • Support service proposal presentations and commercial negotiations.

  • Develop financial models to demonstrate the value of service contracts and assess risks/rewards.

  • Market & Competitor Intelligence:

  • Analyze the installed equipment base to identify growth opportunities.

  • Monitor competitor activity and develop strategies to enhance customer preference for VSS.

  • Gather Voice of Customer (VoC) feedback to guide product development and business strategies.

  • Work with Global Service Market Sector & Product Managers to represent regional needs.

  • Occasionally lead special projects on behalf of global teams.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 Years of relevant experience in semiconductor industry

  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin speaking associates
