Solventum Purification & Filtration business
We are pleased to announce that Solventum has entered into a definitive agreement to sell our Purification & Filtration business to Thermo Fisher Scientific. This transaction is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, regulatory approvals, and country-specific information and consultation needs where required. This is a significant milestone for the P&F business and will enable strategic investments and resources to sustain growth and deliver customer solutions. During this transition, you will work alongside an energized, mission-driven team experiencing this change together. Until then, Solventum will continue to operate as a unified entity, with employment governed by all applicable terms, conditions, and policies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and generate business opportunities working with PEO reps in Indonesia and Philippines.
- Manage and generate business opportunities working with 3M/India sales team.
- Lead the preparation of sales plans—forecasting yearly, quarterly, and monthly for products and customers.
- Analyze sales results and the business environment, and propose plans to drive business growth to respective business leaders in Asia.
- Achieve targets and ensure growth through collaboration with the global team.
- Visit customers across countries, conduct technical discussions, deliver presentations, make offers, negotiate, and collect orders.
- Map customers and monitor competitors' activities in the region.
- Establish and maintain rapport with channel partners and key customers, both at manufacturing sites and head offices.
- Build relationships and develop effective channel partnerships and joint strategies to meet sales objectives and develop new accounts.
- Take personal responsibility to resolve customer problems and issues.
- Follow through on commitments, managing questions, conflicts, and problems.
- Translate business plans into measurable operational plans focused on customer needs, considering strategic and long-term impacts.
- Determine priorities and allocate resources based on business needs.
- Enhance customers’ applications and filtration knowledge, staying updated.
- Adapt sales applications (e.g., Salesforce), company policies, and procedures as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university.
- Minimum five (5) years of combined experience in Sales, Marketing, or Technical Engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of effective communication at all organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in selling filtration products (e.g., cartridge filters, UF/RO membranes).
- Understanding of B2B and B2C sales to be perceived as a consultative partner and value-adding expert.
- Master's Degree in Business or Finance.
- Proficiency in PC applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Salesforce, SAP).
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Ability to influence others and overcome barriers to change, including behavioral, cultural, and organizational challenges.
Location: Singapore
Travel: May include international travel as needed.
