ESG/sustainability is a continuously evolving landscape, with increasing reporting requirements globally. Organizations face greater expectations from regulatory bodies and stakeholders such as customers, investors, employees, suppliers, and lenders. We are expanding our ESG Business Development team to support our Convene ESG Software, assisting clients in their sustainability reporting journey from compliance to advanced ESG governance. The team will grow as we expand our market and client base. We seek candidates with relevant sustainability and ESG reporting or ratings/analysis experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in ESG trends and topics, with attention to data and disclosure quality.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Manage pre-sales activities such as product demonstrations, bid preparation, pricing support, and achieving business targets.
  • Conduct follow-up customer training and oversee product implementation.

The role involves significant interaction with clients, prospects, partners, and Azeus personnel in Singapore, via face-to-face or other communication channels.

Activities include:

  • Develop and maintain a Sales Pipeline, pursue leads, and manage prospects within our CRM.
  • Attend trade shows, possibly interstate.
  • Deliver presentations, proposals, and negotiate deals.
  • Stay informed about legislation and best practices.
  • Update Senior Management on sales leads.

Experience required:

  • 2-3 years of experience selling ESG products
  • 2-3 years of ESG background
  • Experience demonstrating products to potential clients, including C-Suite executives
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Global perspective and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
