The ideal candidates will have a strong background in logistics sales and a proven track record in generating new client leads and maintaining relationships. Develop and implement business development strategies to generate new leads and grow existing client relationships within contract logistics and freight forwarding.
Identify new business opportunities through market research, client visits, and networking.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders and customers.
Collaborate with internal teams to customize logistics solutions tailored to client needs.
Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and negotiate contracts.
Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to proactively identify market opportunities.
Meet and exceed sales targets aligned with company objectives.
Minimum 3-5 years of business development or sales experience in contract logistics, freight forwarding, or related supply chain services.
Strong understanding of logistics operations and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, result-driven, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Willing to travel for client engagement and business development activities.
