We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Contract Logistics Business Development Manager to lead our client's growth efforts in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract logistics, third-party logistics (3PL), and supply chain solutions, with a proven ability to drive business development in the Singapore market. This role involves identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and expanding our client'sfootprint in the region.

The Challenges
  • You will review respective business units request for proposals and work
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy tailored to the Singapore market.
  • Stay updated on local market trends, regulations, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prospect and acquire new clients in Singapore, focusing on contract logistics services such as warehousing, distribution, and inventory management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including supply chain managers, logistics directors, and procurement heads.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to understand their needs and propose customized logistics solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by closing new contracts and expanding business with existing clients.
  • Develop pricing strategies and proposals that align with client needs and company profitability goals.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline progress, and market trends specific to Singapore.
  • Work closely with operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to improve service offerings and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, client needs, and competitive threats in Singapore.
  • Analyze data to provide actionable insights for business growth and strategy refinement.
What It Takes
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the contract logistics, 3PL, or supply chain industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the Singapore market.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
