Job summary

Almac Group is seeking a Business Development Manager based in Singapore to maintain and expand our client base in the greater China region. This is an individual-contributor role with travel within the region.

You will meet targets for new business and current clients, promote services through calls, conferences and meetings, and collaborate with internal teams to tailor proposals for client needs in the pharmaceutical/healthcare sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in direct sales and quotation preparation.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare/medical tech industries advantageous.
• Must communicate in Chinese (written and spoken) with clients in China.
• Experience in BD within the greater China region.

Responsibilities

• Working with internal departments for proposal generation and ensure client needs are understood.
• Ensure presentations, information and systems are up to date
• Potential travel to China or other close regions as required to support company activity, a few times a year

Criteria

• Bachelor's degree qualification
• Experience in direct sales and quotation preparation
• Experience in the pharmaceutical/ healthcare/ medical technology industries are highly advantageous
• Must be able to communicate in Chinese, written and verbal, to interact with clients based in China.
• Must be able to demonstrate past experience carrying out business development within the greater China region.

The Singapore office is situated in Changi Busiiness Park.
