Job description

A fast-growing, tech-driven & automated Central Kitchen and Industrial Catering (Contract Food Services) Organization is seeking Business Development Managers. Preference for gender-diverse candidates, local Chennai candidates, immediate joiners, and those available for interviews immediately.

Location: Chennai (Local candidates preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and map the market to find new business opportunities.
  2. Secure contracts on favorable terms.
  3. Expand the business within Chennai and surrounding areas.
  4. Collaborate closely with the CEO/COO and operations team to develop and execute growth strategies.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities in the industrial catering market.
  2. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet revenue targets.
  3. Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients for both immediate and long-term business.
  4. Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, HR, procurement professionals, and industry associations.
  5. Drive sales growth aligned with business plans.
  6. Track and analyze KPIs to evaluate business development efforts and inform decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Catering, Hotel Management, or related fields.
  • MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.

Experience:

  • 10-15 years of proven experience in business development and sales, with a track record of exceeding targets.
  • At least 5 years in catering companies, hotel banquet sales, facility management, or outsourced B2B services.
