An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded and experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading international law firm in its Singapore office. This role offers the chance to play a key part in driving strategic growth across Singapore and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

The Role

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver business development strategies that support client growth, enhance market presence, and strengthen key relationships. This is a high-impact role that combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, and includes leadership of a small local team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development plans aligned with the firm's strategic goals in Singapore and the region.
  • Lead client development initiatives, including key account management and client feedback programmes.
  • Support major pursuits and go-to-market strategies, providing commercial advice and coaching to partners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across APAC and globally to identify cross-border opportunities and share best practices.
  • Drive thought leadership and market positioning initiatives.
  • Analyse market and client intelligence to inform decision-making.

About You

  • Proven experience in a business development or client development role within a law firm or global professional services environment.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent execution and attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and proactive in identifying opportunities.
