A growing technology firm in Singapore is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead client relationships and oversee software project delivery. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in business development within the tech sector, strong negotiation skills, and an understanding of software lifecycles. This role requires proficiency in English and may involve travel to regional offices in China and the Philippines.

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager who can drive growth, build strong client relationships, and oversee project delivery to ensure customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute regional business development strategies for the company.
Identify new opportunities, target markets, and potential clients.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting, proposal writing, presentation, negotiation, to deal closure.
Collaborate with technical and product teams to shape proposals and solutions that meet client needs.
Track market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Act as the primary point of contact for key clients during project implementation.
Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met.
Monitor project scope, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
Facilitate regular client meetings and project updates to manage expectations and resolve issues early.
Identify post-project upsell opportunities and maintain ongoing client engagement.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in business development, account management, and/or project management in the tech/software sector.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and service delivery models.
Proven ability to manage client accounts and lead software project execution.
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel to China and the Philippines as needed.
Proficiency in English is essential; Understanding Mandarin are a plus.
Attachment duration will be 6 Months.
