We are growing, which is why we are recruiting for a talented, go-getter Business Development Manager to expand our sales operations in the APAC region with a focus on Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.

About The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible for selling our IaaS solutions and driving net new business in the APAC region. You will grow our market share by executing robust lead generation strategies and following up on qualified leads to convert them into new Leaseweb customers. In this role, you will assume full ownership of customer relationships, committed to securing successful business deals with both new prospects and existing clients. Your focus will be predominantly on generating new client engagements, while also maintaining and growing a select group of key existing accounts to ensure their continued satisfaction.

This position is characterized by a high degree of autonomy, a drive for results, and a strong sense of responsibility and commercial focus. Your ability to develop and implement effective territory plans that target new revenue opportunities, together with regular interaction with external clients and internal stakeholders will be essential to your success in this role. Exceptional communication and relationship management skills are crucial for effectively engaging with various parties and driving the business forward.

Job Description

  • Actively seek out and secure new business opportunities to meet and exceed monthly sales quotas.
  • Utilize advanced demand generation techniques and sales engagement tools to effectively generate and qualify leads.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification through negotiation to sales closure.
  • Employ knowledge of cloud, datacenter, and managed services to develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with new customers, focusing on long-term business engagements.
  • Demonstrate exemplary communication skills to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
  • Capture and document customer requirements in CRM systems promptly and accurately.

Job Requirements

You are an energetic go-getter who is truly customer focused and result driven. Furthermore, you have a proven ability to turn leads into deals, who eventually turn into long term relationships. We are looking for:

  • Ideally 5+ years of B2B commercial sales experience in the technology industry with a focus on new business acquisition
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Experienced in or interest in the IT Industry with a strong emphasis on cloud solutions, datacenter and managed services.
  • Go-getter, willing to go the extra mile to turn a lead into a deal
  • Ability to negotiate and deal with client across various cultures
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English and another Asian language will be a plus.
