About the role

Mission / role purpose

The role involves generating new business by establishing direct contact with customers and maintaining strong relationships with large-scale accounts across various functions. The goal is to drive growth in orders and revenue while enhancing customer satisfaction through strategic relationship development that aligns solutions with the customer's Business and IT initiatives. The role also includes managing the professionalism, best practices, and deliverables of the extended account team to differentiate Orange from competitors.

  • Identify and develop new sales pipelines and business opportunities by engaging with customers at operational, management, and executive levels to drive growth through innovative solutions and value creation. Understand market trends and develop account strategies considering the competitive landscape. Maintain a comprehensive customer information repository including IT spending, current service providers, renewals, pain points, and how they align with Orange solutions.
  • Leverage existing relationships with ecosystem partners to expand customer engagement and create opportunities for third-party collaborations that add unique value.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within the designated Target Market by contacting prospects and customers through warm calls, visits, networking, lead generation, proposals, and appointments.
  • Engage with current and potential customers to understand their strategic objectives and develop roadmaps that facilitate the closure of Orange contracts for network services, solutions, IS procurement, and value-added services.
About you
  • Proven experience with reliable customer relationships in large enterprises.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Proactive sales approach with a hunter mentality for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business.
  • Strong understanding of the digital infrastructure, security, managed services, and digital experience markets and vendors.
  • Ability to engage with and partner alongside customers and internal teams.
  • Experience working in virtual team environments.
  • Ability to identify and qualify revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Degree in Business, Finance, or related fields; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Membership in professional organizations and relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • At least 15 years of experience in consultative selling and relationship management with multinational corporations.
  • Experience developing solutions based on customer business and IT initiatives, not just product offerings.
  • Experience managing customers with managed services in WAN, LAN, Hosting, Messaging, Security, and Application Performance Optimization.
  • People management skills, including occasional team leadership and cross-regional coordination.
