Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives within our automotive manufacturing and workshop operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business channels, forming strategic partnerships, expanding local market presence, and leveraging digital platforms—particularly social media—to drive brand awareness and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Growth & Market Expansion

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across both automotive manufacturing (e.g., battery-operated carts, spare parts) and workshop services (e.g., servicing, overhaul, diagnostics).
  • Partner with local businesses such as car dealerships, logistics companies, fleet owners, and industrial firms to drive cross-promotional efforts and B2B sales.
  • Lead the development of B2G opportunities such as government tenders and institutional contracts.

Client & Partner Relationship Management

  • Build strong client and partner networks, nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the automotive ecosystem.
  • Negotiate and formalize collaboration agreements with industry partners for mutual growth.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service follow-up.

Digital Marketing & Social Media Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal teams or external agencies to plan and execute social media strategies across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Develop engaging content that showcases workshop services, before/after repair work, product launches, and customer testimonials.
  • Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, leads) and adjust digital campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Build and manage an online community of followers, turning them into leads and loyal customers.

Product & Service Promotion

  • Understand product and service capabilities and translate them into compelling selling points for specific customer segments.
  • Develop and present proposals, quotations, and tailored business pitches to clients.
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to create promotional materials and campaigns.

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Achieve sales targets and business development KPIs.
  • Monitor the sales pipeline and regularly report progress, forecasts, and market intelligence to senior management.
  • Contribute to business planning, pricing strategies, and strategic reviews.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Must be able to speak and write fluently in Mandarin.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with SMEs, local enterprises, or automotive-related partnerships is a plus.
  • Proven experience managing business social media accounts or digital campaigns is highly desirable.
