To promote Oceanic primarily to the Asian market through participation at various promotional events, meetings, and exhibits.
To maintain relationships with current clients, resolve issues, and succeed in increasing the level of penetration and cooperation.
To assist clients swiftly and promptly with information or other supportive services that may be requested.
To assist the various departments swiftly and promptly with information or other supportive services that may be requested.
To perform such other tasks as may be assigned by Oceanic management.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
To promote Oceanic primarily in the Asian Market.
To maintain relationships with current clients.
To assist in resolving issues with current clients promptly.
To work closely with the Business Development Team of V.Group and the Senior Management of Oceanic in creating new business opportunities.
To assist in developing and organizing sales events, multimedia visual aids, and other promotional materials.
To communicate with clients to ensure smooth delivery of service.
To monitor quality of victualing services delivered on board and ensure they meet/exceed client and crew expectations.
To be conversant with the company’s safety & quality policy, its objectives and the duties/obligations this job description carries within the company.
To work with a team of staff to provide high quality service at all times, ensuring that Oceanic services are provided in a timely and professional manner.
To communicate interoffice issues as required.
Any other duties which catering management may require to be carried out.
Role Requirements:
Sound background in Marketing & Sales.
Experience in Shipping.
Educated to degree level, with a major in a related discipline.
Very good interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
High personal integrity standards, a positive outlook, and self-motivated to develop & succeed.
Able to cooperate well with others, be a team player, and work under tight schedules.
Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Presentation Skills.
Good understanding of Marine Catering and good analytical skills.
Good command of the English language both written and oral.
