Purpose of the position:
- A highly motivated individual with the relevant skill sets, capable of establishing new accounts and developing the freight forwarding business in Singapore.
- Manage and meet targeted growth for the freight and project forwarding desk.
Responsibilities:
- Establish sales strategies, develop new freight forwarding business opportunities, and build and maintain client relationships.
- Formulate a 6-12 month sales action plan aligned with group directives.
- Actively pursue new freight forwarding sales (100% hunting).
- Meet and achieve individual sales target KPIs and budgets.
- Participate in and present sales proposals to clients, including global and local tenders.
- Schedule and arrange client meetings as per the sales outreach program.
- Maintain accurate and regular updates on CRM.
- Provide weekly/monthly commercial reports to the direct manager on sales and business development activities.
- Recover payment dues from assigned accounts as per agreed terms.
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.

Specific requirements for the position:
- Diploma or degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with all freight forwarding business products, processes, and regulations.
- Relevant experience with a proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the freight forwarding industry.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Resourceful and result-oriented with strong prioritization skills to achieve sales targets.
- Self-starter capable of managing the entire commercial cycle from acquisition to completion.
- Existing business pipelines and connections are advantageous.
- OOG/Breakbulk project cargo expertise is an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work with partners across different time zones as required.
- Ensure compliance with Access World Group Policies.
