Your profile / requirements- 3-5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Established network in life sciences (pharma, diagnostics, medtech, biotech, public health) in Singapore (must have!)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of the business development process
- Ability to think strategically, analyze market trends, and develop actionable plans
- Demonstrated leadership potential and an interest in future team management responsibilities (in 1-2 years)
Tasks and responsibilities- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the life science and healthcare industries in Singapore
- Create tailored proposals and presentations to effectively meet client needs and secure new business
- Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with the company’s revenue targets
- Cultivate long-term relationships with clients and ensure repeat business and referrals
- Utilize your established network to drive business growth and build long-term, sustainable client relationships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, operations) to ensure seamless service delivery and a superior customer experience
- Monitor business development goals, including sales targets and lead generation metrics and report regularly to senior management
