Roles & Responsibilities

Job Objective

To identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the oil and gas sector (upstream, midstream, and/or downstream), focusing on expanding the company’s client base, enhancing strategic partnerships, and supporting long-term revenue growth aligned with corporate goals.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans targeting oil and gas clients, including EPC contractors, operators, NOCs, and IOCs.
  • Identify new project opportunities, prequalifications, and tenders in the FPSO, drilling, subsea, and related sectors.
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, government bodies, and JV partners.
  • Analyze market intelligence, project pipelines, and competitor activity to position the company competitively.
  • Coordinate proposal and bid preparation in collaboration with estimating, engineering, and contracts teams.
  • Lead client presentations, negotiations, and contract closures in alignment with commercial strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, exhibitions, and technical events.
  • Maintain and grow CRM database with updated records of client interactions and opportunity pipelines.
  • Report regularly on KPIs, business opportunities, risk exposure, and forecast revenue streams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in business development or commercial roles within the oil and gas sector.
  • Proven track record in securing contracts for services such as EPC, FEED, maintenance, or consultancy.
  • Familiarity with regional and international oil & gas markets, especially offshore, FPSO, or onshore infrastructure.
  • Strong industry network and market intelligence gathering capabilities.
