Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: East

Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to identify and establish new revenue streams aligned with our core competencies in education and enrichment. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is both entrepreneurial and passionate about education. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to shape growth strategy, develop strategic partnerships, and explore new business models that leverage the company’s strengths.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities aligned with the company’s mission and core competencies.
  2. Research and analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to inform strategic direction.
  3. Build partnerships with schools, educational institutions, corporates, and other stakeholders.
  4. Lead the development of proposals, pitches, and partnership agreements.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams (product, curriculum, operations, marketing) to design and deliver new offerings.
  6. Track business performance metrics, including revenue targets and ROI.
  7. Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
  8. Continuously monitor and refine go-to-market strategies for new initiatives.
  9. Work with leadership to source for resources if needed to establish new revenue streams.

Requirements

  1. Diploma or higher in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  2. Experience in the education industry is a must, either in private enrichment centres or MOE schools.
  3. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  4. Proven ability to identify and scale new revenue-generating initiatives.
  5. Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on approach.
  6. Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  7. Sales and Performance Driven.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  1. Establishment of New Revenue stream within the 1st 3 months of joining.
  2. Annual Revenue Target – 300k.
  3. Proposal Success Rates and conversion of leads to confirmed projects or clients.
  4. Contribution to strategic planning and business innovation.
  5. Success of Marketing campaigns and ROAS if any.

  1. Reports directly to CEO and COO of the Company.
  2. Commission based incentives to further establish income.
  3. 5 Day work week.
  4. Performance Bonus.

  8. Working Hours: 9am to 6pm.
