Job description

The individual will establish, analyze, and be responsible for sales forecasts as well as strategize efforts to attract new customers and expand into new market segments.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize initiatives to convert RFQs into sales purchase orders, while attracting new customers and penetrating new market segments at both local and international levels.
  • Oversee the annual operating budget for the S&M department, making necessary adjustments as directed by management.
  • Conduct regular sales calls with customers to ensure alignment with business needs and address early-stage issues.
  • Generate comprehensive market research reports for senior management regarding business trends and market intelligence.
  • Supervise and guide the S&M team to ensure smooth operations and assist in meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Develop team competencies to ensure employee independence and effectiveness.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong inter-departmental relationships.
  • Prioritize deliverables to drive company growth through new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated by supervisors.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in an Engineering field.
  • At least 8 - 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent skills in relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing.
  • Attention to detail with a keen eye for numbers and specifics.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making.
