Identify and develop new business opportunities in ocean freight, with a focus on cross trade logistics and key trade lanes.
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline focused on Asia Westbound and TPEB markets.
Develop and maintain customer portfolio and facilitate business growth.
Deliver sales forecasts, activity reports, and market intelligence to management on a regular basis. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new trends and customer needs.
Initiate, develop and source for new business / potential clients.
Execute strategic sales plan including trade and route development.
Optimize Service Quality.
Achieve joint sales targets set.
Requirements:
At least 5 years’ experience in Logistics & Container Shipping Industry.
Good exposure to import/export and cross-trade.
Develop and execute trade lane strategies in collaboration with global and regional product teams.
Experience dealing with Singapore SME companies will be an advantage.
Highly motivated, independent, and target-driven with a proven sales record.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
