Job Description:

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in ocean freight, with a focus on cross trade logistics and key trade lanes.
  2. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline focused on Asia Westbound and TPEB markets.
  3. Develop and maintain customer portfolio and facilitate business growth.
  4. Deliver sales forecasts, activity reports, and market intelligence to management on a regular basis. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new trends and customer needs.
  5. Initiate, develop and source for new business / potential clients.
  6. Execute strategic sales plan including trade and route development.
  7. Optimize Service Quality.
  8. Achieve joint sales targets set.

Requirements:

  1. At least 5 years’ experience in Logistics & Container Shipping Industry.
  2. Good exposure to import/export and cross-trade.
  3. Develop and execute trade lane strategies in collaboration with global and regional product teams.
  4. Experience dealing with Singapore SME companies will be an advantage.
  5. Highly motivated, independent, and target-driven with a proven sales record.
  6. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  8. Strong command of English (writing & spoken).
  9. Team player with a proactive working attitude.
