A leading eCommerce company in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Manager to enhance customer engagement through various platforms. This role involves managing client relationships, driving sales performance, and conducting market analyses. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree, at least 4 years in business development, and proficiency in eCommerce tools. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.
1. Job descriptions:
• Drive customer interaction through social media live-streaming, proprietary ecommerce platforms, and third-party marketplaces, enabling real-time product demonstrations, seamless transactions, and reseller support.
• Able to do brand-building efforts through international beauty expos, trade fairs, and local product showcases at shopping malls, aimed at increasing visibility, launching new products, and strengthening distributor relationships.
• Manage relationships with partners, clients, and key online marketplace contacts.
• Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product listings, pricing, promotions, and campaign execution.
• Assist in developing logistics, inventory planning, and localized customer support systems to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery for both online and offline channels in the Singapore market
• Sets sales targets, negotiate contracts, and leads the end-to-end onboarding process for new partners or clients.
• Monitor and optimize sales performance, including P&L oversight.
• Develop strategies to improve online customer engagement, retention, and conversion rates.
2. Job requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in business development, client acquisition, or account management—preferably in the eCommerce or digital domain.
• Proven track record in scaling online revenue via marketplaces and D2C platforms.
• Proficient in eCommerce tools like Shopee, Lazada Seller, Tiktok, etc.
• Drive new business opportunities across eCommerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, Tiktok, etc.).
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, sales funnels, and customer acquisition strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using CRM and reporting tools.
