A leading trading company in Singapore is looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead market development across the SEA region. The candidate will manage client relationships and contribute to sales planning while participating in industry exhibitions and negotiations. Successful candidates should have a strong industry network and be adaptable to frequent travels.
Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Singapore business development in trading industry and reach to the whole SEA region market.
• Mainly develop local corporate clients in the trading industry.
• Build a team according to market development, make sales plan and budget.
• Establish customer profiles, visit key customers regularly, handle complaints and demands, and maintain long-term cooperative relationships.
• Deal with Import & Export business if in need.
• Participate in relative exhibitions, business negotiations and other activities to promote cooperation on major projects.
Requirements:
• Good to have wholesale / export experience
• Good to have strong relative industry networks and contacts
• Goal-oriented, strong pressure resistance, adaptable to frequent business trips and flexible work arrangements
