About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team at MRETTY CUSTOM FURNITURE PTE. LTD.'. In this full-time position based in Bendemeer, Central Region, you will play a crucial role in driving new business growth and expanding our customer base. Your strategic and sales expertise will be instrumental in identifying and securing new opportunities that align with the company's ambitious goals.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop new high-end interior design/renovation firms and maintain collaborative partnerships

  • Design and execute effective sales strategies to engage potential clients

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions

  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to secure new business

  • Collaborate closely with production and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery

  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitors, and client needs to identify new opportunities

  • Contribute to the company’s overall sales and marketing initiatives

What we're looking for

  • 3–5 years of experience in business development or sales roles, preferably in the furniture or interior design industry

  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret client needs and develop customized solutions

  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient with a passion for driving business growth

  • Familiarity with the City Hall Central District market and existing relationships with high-end interior design firms will be a strong advantage
