Job summary

A growing company located in Singapore is looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives and enhance customer satisfaction. This role requires proven experience in sales, strong communication, and negotiation skills, as well as an educational background in business administration. The successful candidate will develop strategies, manage client relationships, and lead a team towards achieving their objectives. Availability during evenings and weekends is necessary, as well as proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role.
  • Experience in customer support is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople.
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the director.
