Job description

The Business Development Manager will undergo on-the-job training with supervision from the director by conducting market research and identifying new business opportunities, performing due diligence, facilitating the implementation of business strategies, negotiating deals, etc. He/She will engage in business development with customers aligned with company strategies to drive new growth areas, acquiring new businesses, new customers, and profitable business.

Individual to be involved in:

  1. Identify new business opportunities
  2. Manage new sales activities to maximize revenue opportunity
  3. Building rapport and maintaining a good relationship with clients
  4. Proactively implement strategies to generate ideas, build business plans
  5. Perform market research and identify prospective leads
  6. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by director

Technical Skills and Competencies

  1. Seek new business opportunities and take charge of client acquisition
  2. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  3. Understanding and developing strategies and tactics that will produce new opportunities
  4. Involvement in strategic planning processes such as setting goals and objectives aligned with a company's direction
