Job description and Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible for the business within your territory.

You will lead customer and end-user relationships across all Safran Electronics & Defense product portfolio, ensuring long-term strategic partnerships with your clients and stakeholders.

This role requires frequent travel, approximately +40% of your working time.

Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Understand your territory: customers, local partners, market dynamics, and competitors.
  2. Drive business development for Safran Electronics & Defense products in both new and after-sales markets.
  3. Maintain ongoing customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. Participate in meetings, follow-up, and report writing.
  5. Coordinate with all internal departments (sales, support, program, finance).
  6. Stay informed about tenders, defense budgets, geopolitical factors, and regulations affecting your territory.
  7. Update internal roadmaps, conduct marketing analyses, and propose action plans to grow the business.
Educational Requirements:

Master's degree or diploma in Business Administration/Management, Engineering with international sales and marketing experience, or equivalent.

Skills and Experience:
  1. At least 3 years of experience in international companies; experience in defense or aerospace is a plus.
  2. Familiarity with the Southeast Asian business environment.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Ability to develop reports, action plans, and business strategies.
  5. Strong organizational skills.
  6. Self-motivated and proactive.
  7. Team-oriented.
  8. Adaptability to a global organizational structure.
