Job summary

Morgan McKinley Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an entrepreneurial Business Development Associate in a hybrid commercial-onboarding role to drive new leads, expand market presence, and spearhead client KYC workflows in close collaboration with the Commercial Director.

You will own onboarding and portfolio coordination, manage fund and SPV client queries, draft proposals, support marketing initiatives, and travel for key client meetings as required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience within the corporate and fund services industry in Singapore.
• Familiarity with compliance, CDD and KYC onboarding workflows.
• Ability to balance commercial sales activities with onboarding processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to engage key stakeholders.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple client accounts and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new commercial opportunities, build long-term relationships with prospects and referral networks.
• Take ownership of client onboarding by collaborating with compliance teams for KYC requirements.
• Act as the primary contact for fund and SPV clients, handling inquiries and coordinating with external stakeholders.
• Draft and populate RFPs, prepare fee proposals, and maintain pipeline and deal data in the CRM.
• Collaborate with marketing to organize BD initiatives and represent the firm at events.
• Support the Commercial Director on BD tasks and travel for client meetings as needed.
