Job description

Our client, a respected and growing fund administration firm, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across its fund services offering.

Role

This role is central to the firm's commercial strategy and will focus on identifying, engaging, and converting new business opportunities with asset managers, private equity firms, hedge funds, and institutional investors. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of the investment management ecosystem and will be responsible for articulating the firm's value proposition to prospective clients.

This position demands both strategic thinking and hands-on sales execution. The Business Development Manager will be expected to build a robust pipeline of qualified prospects, manage relationships throughout the sales lifecycle, and contribute to broader go-to-market planning. A deep familiarity with fund structures, operational workflows, regulatory considerations, and the competitive landscape in fund administration is essential.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, self-directed, and motivated by targets, yet capable of working closely with internal operations, legal, and onboarding teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Experience selling fund administration, fund accounting, investor services, or middle- and back-office solutions in a high-touch environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of private capital markets and NAV calculation processes will be considered a strong asset.
