Job Description

  • Business new businesses for new build of FCB, CTV, launch boats and passenger ferries.
  • Build and develop good working relationship with potential customers and maintaining teamwork showing high interests.
  • Solve daily conflicts at ground level by monitoring and coordinating sequential and incompatible jobs affecting master schedule.
  • Closely liaise with classification societies, ship owners, owner specialist engineers, vessel crew and ship agents to ensure successful completion of the project meeting or exceeding customer's expectations.
  • Meet commercial / naval contractual commitments and quality of repaired ship.
  • Capture additional works and raise variation orders and provide information to Corporate Dept for more competitive pricing.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Naval Architecture/Marine/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Possess 2 years' experience in similar capacity from marine / shipbuilding.
  • Macro thinking with good emotional quotients
  • Able to make appropriate decisions and judgments, decisive and take proper actions.
  • Able to negotiate and prepare quotations after proper costing with vendors and suppliers, local and overseas
  • Willing to work late at times and possess leadership qualities.
  • Proficient in MS Office

Address of Work

  • Location: Tuas Road (Direct bus from Joo Koon MRT)
  • 5 days work week with occasional weekend depending on volumes
  • Working Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm
