(Freight forwarding Hunter sales)
Working days: 5 days a week, 9am - 5.30pm
Location: UE Square Singapore 239920 (Fort Canning)
Salary: Basic + Commission
Job scope:
- Improve the company’s market position and achieve financial growth
- Meet and exceed objectives through the development of new businesses, coordination of Business Development shipments, and existing business penetration
- Identify target customers, initiate sales calls, pursue leads, and convert them into clients
- Collaborate with Finance and Indoor Sales team on payment issues and follow up with clients
- Build and maintain a pipeline of business
- Achieve general profit in line with set KPIs
- Prepare sales plans and forecasts
- Source rates from carriers, hauliers, offices, and worldwide agents
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors such as carriers, co-leaders, and trucking companies
- Work effectively with Indoor Sales, Business Development, and other teams
- Support sales strategies set by the Head of Business Development and Management
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
- Collaborate across teams (internal and external) to overcome challenges and meet objectives
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Adhere to company policies on Compliance, HSSE&Q, Code of Business Conduct, and Employee Handbook
- Report and document all sales activities using the company’s internal system
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of hunter sales/business development experience in the freight forwarding industry
- Proven track record and strong network with carriers, co-leaders, and trucking companies
