Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our dynamic
team in Singapore. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this key role will focus on identifying new
opportunities, managing the overall bid administration, coordinating across business sectors, ensuring
compliances to policies on bid and tendering, and driving client engagement within the engineering and
construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- dentify and track new business opportunities, tenders, and strategic partnerships.
- Assist in drafting, formatting, and preparing high-quality business proposals, tender submissions, and presentations.
- Coordinate with various internal stakeholders (e.g., technical teams, legal, finance, bidding managers, division heads) to gather necessary input for bids.
- Ensure all commercial aspects of proposals and tenders are aligned with company objectives, bid compliance, systems, procedures and risks are identified and recorded.
- Manage and track proposal deadlines, ensuring timely submission of all required documents.
- Gather relevant project information from databases, and WSP's past project experience to support bid submissions.
- Organize and manage bid-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all business development activities, leads, pipelines, and opportunities.
- Chair and facilitate the weekly sector prospect review meeting.
- Maintain Bid Master File and prepare report for monthly business review meetings
- Help maintain relationships with existing and new clients by providing support, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a positive client experience.
- Coordinate internal and external appointments, client-facing activities and meetings
- Assist with general administrative tasks to ensure smooth operation of the business development function.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across diƯerent business units.
- Assist in building and maintaining a database of prospective clients and key contacts.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma: in Marketing, Business, Engineering or relevant fields, with proven experience in business development, sales or a related role
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to eƯectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft OƯice Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are essential as well as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Cloud-based platforms.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work eƯectively within a team and coordinate across sectors.
- Proactive and Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be accountable for actions.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and contribute to solutions.
