Job Summary

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the strategic growth of the company. Your primary focus will be to drive sales, expand market presence, and support cross-functional initiatives that align with Ocean Drive’s long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in local and international markets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align business strategies with operational capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with clients and partners.
  • Attend networking events, trade exhibitions, and business forums to promote the company.
  • Track performance metrics, sales targets, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting.

Requirements

  • Minimum - Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
  • Preferably, some experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships & Marketing. Or have some knowledge on related fields such as Airfreight and Sea freight management or business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Having knowledge and understanding of the Southeast Asian market is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Self – Oriented Skills/Character Profile

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive approach.
  • Strong network of industry contacts or the willingness to build and foster new friendships within the industry and beyond.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Equip with knowledge on digital marketing strategies.
