We are seeking a Senior Sales professional to join our team, with a primary focus on managing property sales, marketing, and revenue stakeholder relationships across APAC hotels—particularly in Mandarin-speaking markets such as Greater China, Singapore, and Hong Kong. This role will also be responsible for identifying new business development opportunities with both existing partners and prospective clients.

You will carry a quota for both new business bookings and renewals. Success in this role requires strong solution-selling capabilities and a total account management approach, along with effective leadership of your assigned Sales Associate. The primary objective is to drive partnership growth and increase Cvent’s market share within the hotel sector.

This is predominantly a hunter role, requiring end-to-end prospecting, pitching, and closing of new business opportunities.

Cvent’s Hospitality Cloud offers hotels a powerful, targeted advertising platform that connects them with event planners as they search for destinations, venues, and group business. As one of Cvent’s largest and fastest-growing divisions, we’re looking for experienced, collaborative, and creative sales professionals to help broaden our value proposition across the hospitality industry—extending beyond marketing into analytics, productivity tools, mobile technology, and more.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Owning the full sales cycle from lead generation to close, demonstrating Cvent solutions, advancing the sales cycle, and negotiating/closing deals
  • Quota carrying for NBB (New Booked Business) and closely working with Sales Representatives who will be executing the sales funnel effectively and driving the Revenues
  • Travel up to 30% to represent Cvent at major tradeshows and hotel sales conferences, host product seminars or attend client meetings
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities in Salesforce.com
  • Monitor and report sales activity within the system
  • Collaborate internally with the Account Management and Client Services teams to ensure complete CSAT (customer satisfaction)

What You Will Need for this Position:

  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials
  • Relevant 4+ years of prior revenue generating software sales experience
  • Strong organisational and detail-orientation skills, with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Able to integrate knowledge across disciplines to include cold calling, consultative selling, product demonstrations, closing contracts, operation/process flow, and product function
  • Strong sense of initiative and personal leadership demonstrating the ability to function independently, but must also be able to contribute to team initiatives
  • Strong business acumen, ethics and high integrity
