About the role

Join the dynamic sales team at AVA Global Pte Ltd as a Business Development Executive. In this full-time position based in the Tuas West Region, you will play a crucial role in driving new business growth and expanding the company's client base. Leveraging your sales expertise and strong communication skills, you will identify and pursue new opportunities to propel AVA Global's continued success.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively prospect and generate new leads through effective networking, cold-calling and email campaigns
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions
  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed individual and team targets
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and build long-term relationships
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to support demand generation activities
  • Maintain detailed records of all sales activities and pipeline in the CRM system
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis and product knowledge
  • What we're looking for

  • 1-3 years of proven experience in a new business development or sales role, preferably within the sales/new business development industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively pitch and negotiate
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting, qualifying leads and closing sales deals
  • Excellent time management, organisational and multitasking skills
  • Tenacity, resilience and a results-driven mindset
  • Tertiary qualification in business, marketing or a related field is preferred
