Qualifications

Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Build & Lead a Sales Team: Recruit, train, and manage a dedicated sales team focused on aggressive business acquisition.

  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, partnerships, and strategic outreach.

  • Market Expansion: Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate the Singapore market, targeting corporate clients, retailers, e-commerce platforms, and distributors.

  • Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed sales targets by closing high-value deals and expanding customer acquisition channels.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and negotiate long-term contracts.

  • Market Intelligence: Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales approaches.

  • Performance Tracking: Implement KPIs, sales metrics, and reporting systems to monitor team performance.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven Sales Leadership: Minimum 5+ years in business development or sales, with experience hunting new business (not just account management).

  • Startup/Scale-up Experience: Prior experience in setting up a sales team from scratch is highly preferred.

  • Strong Closer: Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close deals in a competitive market.

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in office ergonomics, tech accessories, or B2B sales is a plus.
