An established international recruitment firm is seeking a Business Development Director to manage and grow a portfolio of European accounts. The role focuses on generating new business opportunities and building client relationships, targeting a growth of 20% in existing accounts. Applicants should have over 12 years’ experience in business development and account management, with a strong background in sales processes and staffing solutions.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing European accounts, primarily System Integrators, by collaborating closely with current account managers. Your main objectives will include generating additional business from these accounts, aiming for a 20% growth in existing accounts by exploring other Lines of Business. You will be expected to create compelling propositions for clients, respond to RFPs, and work closely with designated account managers and recruitment teams. Additionally, you should be able to handle a number target that is tracked on a monthly and quarterly basis, and also work on building RPO and MSP capabilities for clients.
To be considered for this role, you must possess at least 12 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, and Account Management in International Recruitment, specifically in UK/Europe, US, and APAC markets. A strong understanding of staffing solutions, excellent client handling skills, and hands-on experience with sales processes such as running call and mail campaigns, as well as conducting and leading first/second level meetings, are essential. Moreover, proficiency in resource planning and recruitment delivery is required.
