Job Description

  1. Prepare presentations and proposals for clients
  2. Qualify and assess leads – understand their goals, constraints, and platform requirements
  3. Liaise with both the client and delivery teams to ensure that all parties are aligned on the scope of work
  4. Consistently follow up with clients to understand their business’ needs and adapt our approach accordingly
  5. Analyze existing client relationships to see how we can upsell & cross-sell services
  6. Ensure that the Salesforce CRM is up-to-date and leads are registered correctly on partner portals
  7. Maintain productive & positive relationships with partner companies
  8. Act as a team lead for all business development representatives by mentoring them, supporting them on pitches, and engaging in enablement activities
  9. Create & research meaningful content for case studies, website posts, webinars, and white papers, while building a repository for these files for future reference
  10. Align with company leadership for new outbound campaigns, including LinkedIn messaging, creating phone scripts, and EDMs
  11. Support marketing initiatives
  12. Present value messaging effectively to customers with a solutions selling mindset
  13. Respond to tender opportunities and lead pursuit strategy
  14. Seek & establish a deep understanding of the client’s business across all client stakeholders
  15. Establish trusted advisor client relationships to enable mutual growth in the future
  16. Identify goals and deliverables with appropriate budgets for a particular project opportunity
  17. Establish and refine processes where required to manage accounts efficiently

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Technology/Computer Science or equivalent
  2. At least 15 years of relevant sales experience in hunting and managing government agencies & public accounts, preferably with experience serving/managing Government accounts with a proven BD/sales track record.
  3. Experience in managing Key Accounts in the government segment such as Education/Utilities/Statutory Boards
  4. IOT technical knowledge
  5. Smart Building domain knowledge, energy/environmental sustainability knowledge a plus
  6. Familiarity with government procurement processes especially GreenLane, Bulk tender, GEBIZ process
  7. Strong understanding in automation, digital and IoT is a plus
  8. Proven experience in operational and business acumen in the relevant field
  9. Vast client and partners network in this area
  10. Strong account mapping ability to deal with key stakeholders at different levels
  11. Outstanding presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  12. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and manage stretched assignments
  13. Highly resourceful and comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  14. Self-motivated with high quality and ethical standards for themselves and others
  15. Ability to function effectively and decisively in sometimes fluid or ambiguous situations
  16. A strong team player and collaborative in nature
  17. Solid analytical and consulting skills with good knowledge of industry best practices.
