Reviews the team’s work, discusses job performance, and provides action-oriented feedback, mentoring, and training to grow performance and fulfill potential. Ensures that the team adheres to proper procedures and quality standards, meets deadlines, and corrects errors or problems. Provides team with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems and in resolving escalated complaints or disputes. Supports individual and team contributions to Corporate Development team initiatives. Ensures appropriate workflow and distribution of work assignments based on workload, work priorities, and worker competencies. Identifies employee training needs based on business activities and evaluation of employee job skills, creates career paths, and has career development discussions with individuals. Oversees succession plans to identify resource gaps and support career development. Ensures completion and effectiveness of the annual performance review process, including performance discussions, compensation discussions, and diligent management and equitable distribution of the assigned budget.
Additional responsibilities include:
Champion a culture of continuous improvement by driving initiatives to enhance business development processes, tools, and methodologies. Implement best practices, performance metrics, and feedback mechanisms to optimize performance. Lead negotiations for contracts, partnerships, and strategic deals.
Monitor and ensure quality and safety compliance in construction work. Provide regular updates on project progress, issues, and changes. Identify and resolve potential project problems.
