Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Customer Acquisition, Support, and Business Development Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new customers, providing exceptional support to existing clients, and driving business development initiatives. You will also play a key role in creating and launching new services that meet market needs and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. New Customer Acquisition:
    • Identify and prospect new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
    • Develop and implement strategies to reach potential clients through various channels.
    • Engage with prospective customers to understand their needs and present relevant products or services.
  2. Business Development and Service Creation:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop new services or enhance existing ones, tailored to meet customer needs and market trends.
    • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, gaps, and customer demands for new service offerings.
    • Oversee the process of creating new services from ideation through launch, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer expectations.
  3. Customer Support:
    • Provide ongoing support to existing customers, ensuring satisfaction with products and services.
    • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Maintain regular communication with customers to foster long-term relationships and identify opportunities for additional services or upselling.
  4. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture relationships with both new and existing customers, ensuring a high level of customer loyalty and retention.
    • Track customer feedback and collaborate with internal teams to improve products and services.
    • Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and take proactive steps to enhance the customer experience.
  5. Expected to handle ad-hoc assignments across departments, including sales-related tasks, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  1. At least 2 years of practical experience in B2B sales, including customer acquisition, business development, or customer support.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  3. Ability to think strategically and creatively when developing new services or solutions.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address customer inquiries or issues effectively.
  5. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to meet or exceed targets.
  6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Open to working in a small team environment.
  8. Due to the requirement for business trips at a certain frequency, candidates must be willing to travel.
  9. Japanese reading and speaking skill.

The following experience will be an advantage but is not mandatory:

  1. Experience in preloved fashion industry.
  2. Familiarity with CRM systems, business development tools, and customer support software.
  3. Knowledge of market trends and the ability to identify new service opportunities.
  4. Experience in building a business in a startup environment.

Work Environment: This position will be based in a fast-paced, growing startup environment where tasks and priorities may change frequently. Flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. You may be asked to contribute to additional responsibilities to support the company's overall growth and operations.
