Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development professional to drive growth and expand our client base for our technology software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the tech industry, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to identify and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets and industry verticals
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and lead generation
- Present and demonstrate software solutions to potential clients, highlighting value propositions
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to tailor solutions based on client requirements
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and upsell opportunities
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking activities
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the tech/software industry
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and growing business accounts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of software solutions such as SaaS, enterprise systems, or cloud platforms
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
