Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and driven Business Development Assistant Manager to support our business expansion efforts. You will work closely with the Business Development Manager and the leadership team to identify new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and contribute to sales growth. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing strategies for business growth and client acquisition
- Support the Business Development Manager in identifying potential markets and customer needs
- Help coordinate and attend client meetings and presentations
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and sales documents with accuracy and professionalism
- Maintain and update client records, sales reports, and CRM systems
- Communicate regularly with clients to build strong relationships and provide post-sales support
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support strategic planning
- Help manage and track sales targets and performance metrics
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth service delivery to clients
- Provide administrative support and follow-up on business leads
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Business Development Manager or Director
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or customer service
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho)
- Highly organized with good time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
