A leading company in defence systems seeks a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand client relationships. The role involves strategic planning, team management, and market analysis, requiring strong communication and negotiation skills. Candidates should have 2-4 years of relevant experience and a keen interest in defence solutions.
The role will report directly to the Head of Business Development. He/She is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and acquiring new business opportunities and maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills who can effectively manage the sales process from prospecting to closing.
Job Description:
Work with and assist the Head BD in developing sales targets, identifying growth opportunities and formulating business development plans.
Analyse market trends and customers’ needs and develop strategies to boost sales in the new markets and strengthen sales in existing markets
Manage the team, including defining and communicating key performance indicators and targets, and guide the team towards achieving these targets
Advocate the products and involve in tender proposals, quotations and contract negotiations.
Work collaboratively across teams within the department
Establish leads and drive the sales pipeline to meet sales objectives
Establish and foster relationships with customers
Identify potential new partners, present business propositions, and establish reseller agreements
Requirements:
2-4 years of experience with a degree in any Engineering field, Marketing or Business Development with working experience, preferably on the sales and marketing experience
Strong command of English and able to engage stakeholders at all levels, including customers and principals
Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Highly motivated and result driven.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Adaptability and willingness to learn.
Independent, self-motivated and able to work with a team
Keen interest in defence-related products and solutions
