Job description

As a Business Development Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach in the hospitality sector. Your primary responsibility is to establish connections with hotel operators and key decision-makers, enabling our company to present and promote our technology solutions. You will also serve as an industry expert, sharing insights and hospitality knowledge with the business development team to enhance strategic execution and drive success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and connect with key hotel decision-makers, including owner-operators, general managers, and department heads.
  • Organise and facilitate business meetings and product presentations with potential hotel clients.
  • Promote and present our retail technology solutions clearly and effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Impart hospitality-related expertise and operational knowledge to the business development team to support better client engagement and strategy formulation.
  • Lead or support the closing of sales deals, ensuring a seamless transition from initial engagement to contract signing.
  • Maintain and expand a strong network within the Singapore and regional hospitality industry.
  • Provide regular market insights and competitive intelligence to inform company strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to align offerings with client needs and business goals.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven network of connections within the Singapore and/or regional hotel industry, particularly with General Managers, Operations Directors, Purchasing Directors, or equivalent decision-makers.
  • Deep understanding of hotel operations, industry structure, and business dynamics.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently to generate leads and establish business opportunities.
  • Familiarity with hotel technology systems or operational tools is an advantage.
