Momentum Z is a fast-growing cybersecurity consultancy and compliance solutions provider helping SMEs, NPOs, and enterprises navigate critical frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, Cyber Trust, Data Protection Trustmark (DPTM), ISO27001, NIST, and more. We partner closely with IMDA, CSA, ESG, and NCSS to enable funding, readiness, and trust for organizations in the digital economy.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and energetic Business Development Executive to spearhead outbound sales initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on cold-calling, emails, engaging decision-makers, and converting leads into qualified opportunities.

Your mission is to proactively identify and reach out to potential clients, pitch our services, qualify their needs, and book appointments for our consulting team or close smaller accounts yourself.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new leads through cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers in SMEs, charities, and enterprises
  • Educate prospects on cybersecurity compliance needs and relevant certifications (e.g. CE, DPE, DPTM, ISO27001)
  • Qualify prospects for readiness, urgency, and funding eligibility (e.g. NCSS, EDG)
  • Book and coordinate consultation calls with internal consultants
  • Maintain and manage leads and conversations in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with marketing for outbound campaigns and materials
  • Meet monthly KPIs: number of calls, meetings set, conversion rates
Requirements
  • 2–5 years of experience in inside sales, business development, or telemarketing
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills able to pitch value clearly and confidently
  • Prior experience in B2B sales, especially in technology, consultancy, or services
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset, resilient to rejection
  • Excellent command of English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity or compliance frameworks is advantageous but not required
